Tumultuous times, and a little normalcy with style goes a long way. Very best, Jeremiah

I mean, I can't imagine a review of a new restaurant could sound any better!

Ah, those were the days. S. Irene Verbilla, Met Home magazine, people showing up at the back door with wild mushrooms and fish. And still, today, it's a battle to find the perfect ingredients. And, often, as noted, they are in the backyard. Right now, I am cutting asparagus.Twenty minutes out of the garden and onto the table. Nothing compares. Thank you for this reminder of Stars.

This was such a refined and soothing article to read this morning. Even though I spent 50 years in restaurant kitchens and in normal times can bring on a high blood pressure attack by merely thinking about inferior ingredients coming through the door! But these are not normal times and I relaxed into the pictures and prose. Thank you!!

Loved that place. So exciting! First time I had ever seen chefs in baseball caps and not toques. And I can just see Terry's and my table in the first pic, the one that Jerry Brown usually sat at. And oh, the kiosk with all the merch, just waiting for me to have drunk enough Champagne!
