Oh my god. Your essay knocked me out. Exciting, thrilling, scintillating, and so over the top. Does any kind of life like this even exist anymore? Was much of this tongue in cheek? Methinks not… such a pleasure. Thank you.
We were having drinks and appetizers at the HMS in The Breakers in Palm Beach last winter. I spotted the Chateau d'yquem on the menu and remembered it from reading about it in one of your writings. There was no roast beef, goose, or duck so I ordered a dessert and the d'yquem. I have had Sauternes before but this took the "cake!" I do want to prepare the vodka roast asap before I forget. Thank you for some details here. Cheers, Chef de cuisine! DG
With lots of hot butter and very cold Zubrovka!
And you have plenty of time, but no reason to dally!
Best compliment, thank you Dave!
Thank you Christiana, and tongue firmly in normal place!

Hi Daniel, and yes, everything perfect about d'Yquem except the price these days.
Who would love to join me and go back in time so we could hang out with the great Jeremiah Tower and live life with such finesse?!
Well, with you, Norman, it would truly be with finesse!
I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall at Stars during dining hours and in the kitchen at night when the joint was closed.
Then you could have joined the bartenders drining my expensive Cognac!
I’m in! 🙋♂️
Perfect!
I'm using that blini recipe.
This post is a French kiss to the pleasure center of the brain.
As is your comment!
Classic Jeremiah, thank you for sharing!
And thank you, Frank!
Agree with all comments so far. Wish it was easier to print a recipe.
Cut and paste or won't it let you!
I could almost taste the wine 🍷 and roast beef.
God I HAVE to recreate this before I die.
