Stars at Foreign Cinema, Thursday, November 9, 2023. In 2013 we all cooked at Foreign Cinema restaurant and it was a big success as well as a lot of entertainment. So when co-owners Gayle and John Pirie asked me to do it again. We did. A couple of weeks ago.

I think I'll borrow a couple of ideas for my Christmas Dinner. This is all so lovely and I see meringues have resurfaced. Christmas Meringues sound inspiring.

Those twice risen Soufflés sound similar to the Roux Brothers Soufflé Suissesse.
Never dined with the Roux, but I am sure this was the origen of the one I do!
I need to research the rise and fall of the soufflé...

What's "Montpelier Butter"? Is that a particular type, or is it something you make with butter...?
It is a "compound" butter, like herb butter, but with other ingredients that make it way over the top of herb butter. See online recipes

Meringues always what the soul needs, and then wash them in lashing of creme anglaise!
